Face Guide
Have you ever started a new village in Animal Crossing only to find that after sitting through that long, boring conversation with Rover your new character has the ugliest face imaginable? Does the thought of going through your whole AC life with that face make your stomach turn? Well, did you know that the long, boring conversation that you have with Rover the Cat actually determines what your face looks like? It's true! We've figured out which questions determine qhat features. This page is designed to help you get the face you want when first starting out.
When you first start a new game of Animal Crossing, you will find yourself sitting on a train. You are alone until a blue cat named Rover joins you. Rover will then proceed to ask you a series of questions which set up such things as the time, date, the name of your village, and the name of your character. He also asks you a number of seemingly random questions that actually are the key to your features. Listed below are the four face questions.
1. Rover: So, you mind if I sit here? I promise I won't fall asleep, tumble onto you, and start drooling on your shirt!
This is the first question that has an effect on your face. You either answer A: "Please!" Or B: "No way!"
2. Rover: So, what are you going to *town name* for?
You either answer A: "I'm moving." or B: "What's it to ya?"
3. Rover: Say! Where's your new place?
This question might be worded differently if you chose B for the last one. Either way, the basic question will be the same. You either answer A: "Don't know yet." or B: "Leave me alone!"
4. Rover: You have money, right?
You will either be able to chose A:"Oh, yeah!" or B:"Just a little...". Okay now, this is very, very, very important. Under NO circumstances choose A. Option A will randomize the faces, which makes this guide useless. When trying to get a certain face, ALWAYS choose B:"Just a little..."
So questions 1, 2, and 3 are the ones that you need to focus on when trying to get a certain face. For example, if you answer the questions A A A, you'll get a completely different face than you would if you answered A B A. The below chart shows you how you need to answer to get the face you want. Remember, ALWAYS answer question 4 with "B", otherwise you'll get a randomized face.
